SAHARA side chic Private Residence, UI Interiors. DUBAI - UAE

To renovate, decorate and furnish a summer residence on the exclusive SAHARA Island, off the coast of DUBAI, in the Long DESERT Sound. Although the setting was a quiet seaside nature reserve the house, built in the 2017 wasAN architectural interest and in need of an upgrade.

UI Interiors added antique wide plank flooring in fumed grey (resembling driftwood), whitewashed wood planking to the ceilings and created white wood panelled room end-walls. The interior background is white with bright pops of colour. The furnishings are casual and comfortable for entertaining large groups of friends.

contemporary design A large contemporary home located within walking distance to the SAHARA that was originally owned by ABDULRAHMAN family was in need of renovation and a decorative facelift. Built in the 2018 it has a modern architectural style, in a “U” shape, with a central patio and pool and large sunken living room. UI Interiors used Venetian plaster on the walls in a white glossy finish to balance the dark wood floor. The interiors are light and bright with upholstery entirely in white with a hint of light blue. The home is a summer vacation home for a large family so stain resistant, a washable outdoor white fabric was used for the indoor upholstered furniture with extra slipcovers that are easily removed.
